What Are CBD Capsules & CBD Softgels?

CBD capsules and CBD softgels are small, convenient pills made with CBD oil and various other natural ingredients that are usually taken with water or some other form of liquid. CBD capsules can range in concentration and strength. Green Wellness Life sells CBD capsules ranging from 5mg to 50mg of CBD per pill with bottles ranging anywhere from 300mg to 3000mg of CBD per bottle. Different capsules may be designed for different benefits. We sell various CBD capsules that may help to improve sleep, reduce anxiety, reduce stress, ease pain, reduce inflammation, and more.

What Are The Benefits Of CBD Capsules & CBD Softgels?

CBD capsules and softgels have many benefits. Unlike raw extracts or oil tinctures, the amount of CBD you’re taking is pre-measured. So, there is less guesswork on proper serving size when you take CBD pills. CBD capsules are also easy to consume with water and can be swallowed down in seconds with your current vitamin supplements, which makes them easy to work into any morning routine. Many individuals do not like the taste of CBD oil, which can be described as grassy and earthy. Capsules and softgels are generally flavorless, which allows you to avoid the taste of CBD oil as well.

Do CBD Pills Work Slower Than CBD Oil In Liquid Form?

Unlike tinctures, CBD pills are metabolized through the digestive system. The digestive process is relatively slow, which means it can take up to an hour for the effects of CBD capsules and softgels to kick in. While CBD pills work slower than tinctures, the effects normally last for quite some time. The effects of CBD induced by capsules typically lasts 12 to 24 hours.

Will I Fail A Drug Test Taking CBD Capsules?

There are different types of CBD products. Broad spectrum and isolate CBD capsules contain no THC at all. Most workplace drug screenings are designed to detect THC.  Full spectrum products do contain THC, but the amount of THC in the product is very small (.3% or less). It’s unlikely that you would test positive with a full spectrum product, but it could happen. If you want to play it safe, broad spectrum or isolate products would be the better options.

Do CBD Pills Work With No THC?

While full spectrum CBD products offer the most benefits due to the entourage effect, there are many benefits to using broad spectrum or isolate products (which contain no THC). Broad spectrum products give you the benefits of all of the other cannabinoids in hemp outside of THC. Even CBD on its own has many benefits. THC isn’t necessary for mood improvement, anxiety relief, sleep improvement, or stress relief. Isolate products, which only contain CBD, do a great job in those areas.

How Many CBD Capsules Or CBD Softgels Should I Take?

If you’re new to CBD, we always recommend starting with a lower serving size first and increasing from there. You can start with capsules that offer 25mg of CBD per pill and take one capsule per day to start. If you’re not seeing the results you were hoping for, you can increase the amount of capsules you take by one per day until you start to fully experience the effects and benefits CBD can provide. If you find yourself taking two or more 25mg capsules per day, you can buy capsules with the higher 50mg concentration the next time you need capsules.

Do I Have To Take CBD Capsules Every Day?

To realize the full benefits that CBD capsules have to offer, we would recommend taking them every day as part of your daily routine. Daily consumption of CBD capsules will help to sustain a level of CBD in your body, which can stimulate your endocannabinoid system to produce a greater reaction to cannabinoids like CBD. Fortunately, one of the benefits of capsules is that they are very easy to take, which makes working them into your daily routine convenient.

CBD Softgels Vs. CBD Capsules

Green Wellness Life sells both capsules and softgels. The type of CBD pill best for you will depend on your personal preference and dietary restrictions. Taking either form will provide the wellness benefits you are looking for. Many prefer softgels, because they’re smaller in size and softer – making them easier to swallow. However, softgels often contain gelatin, which is an animal product. So, if you’re vegan or vegetarian, you’d be better off with CBD capsules.
