What is CBD?

Cannabidiol, commonly referred to as CBD, is one of several naturally-occurring cannabinoids in industrial hemp. Studies show CBD is a natural “neutralizer” for our bodies. Although our hemp oil products are food supplements, not medications, we strive to educate our customers on the potential of the industrial hemp plant.

Hemp Oil Manufacturing Safety:

This proprietary hemp extract is manufactured under strict quality controls in an FDA-registered cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Procedures) certified laboratory. An independent lab tests each batch using high-tech liquid gas chromatography for verification of purity and concentration of CBD (cannabidiol). Additional tests for yeast, molds, E. coli, coliforms, and total aerobic count are also performed for each batch.  Available in 1g – 10g oral syringes.

Which Type of CBD Oil Extract is Best for You?

The Gold version comes in either a liquid or gel form, with yellow/orange color variations. The gold label tubes typically have the highest CBD concentration due to a filtering process that removes the excess plant parts. The Blue version is a dark, paste-like substance. This version requires more strength to dispense because of its density; however, placing the oral syringe in warm water will soften the oil. The blue is not filtered, which is something many customers like, as other parts of the plant may be beneficial as well. The Raw version is also a dark, paste-like substance. The difference between this and the Blue or Gold is that it has both CBD and CBDa.  It’s the closest that you can come to the plant growing out of the earth, which many whole plant advocates prefer.

Blue & Green vs Gold Label:

The Blue and Green Labels are rich in CBD and, because excess plant parts aren’t filtered out like with the Gold Label, they contain other beneficial cannabinoids or terpenoids. So if you’re looking for a strong oil with additional whole-plant phytonutrients, the Blue or Green version is a great option. However, note that this type of potent hemp oil has a very strong, earthy taste. Due to the thick consistency, it may take longer to absorb into your mouth in addition to having a stronger taste than the Gold Label.  The Gold label has been heated and repeatedly filtered to remove all plant matter. The resulting extract is a light colored gel that is packed with CBD. Although there are flavored versions out there, we want to keep this extract as natural as possible to give you purely the beneficial components.

CBD Oil Extract Instructions and Servings:

Allow oil to come to room temperature before administering. We recommend experimenting to find the best daily regimen for you. Although there’s no set serving size, many customers report taking the size of a grain of rice (or less) to be a sufficient daily intake. There are approximately 30 rice-sized servings in a 1 gram tube. At 15% CBD in the Green/Blue, each of these servings has about 5mg of CBD. At 25% in the Gold, each grain of rice sized serving is about 8mg CBD.

  • Squeeze the desired amount of oil onto a spoon or your finger.
  • Place the oil you just squeezed out under your tongue.
  • Hold for 60-90 seconds, then swallow.

If you find the taste to be too strong for you, mixing with honey or coconut oil may help. Store in a cool, dark location.

Warning:

The Gold version dispenses much quicker than the Blue or Green. When warm, the Blue and Green oil will also dispense quickly. Please be careful when dispensing warm or gel oils as they may come out of the tube more quickly than you intend.

Pregnant women and lactating mothers should not use this product. Always consult a medical doctor before modifying your diet or using any new product. Disclaimer: Most work-place drug screens and tests target delta9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and do not detect the presence of Cannabidiols or other legal natural hemp-based constituents. However, studies have shown that eating hemp foods and oils can cause confirmed positive results when screening urine and blood specimens on a full cannabinoid profile. Accordingly, if you are subject to any form of drug testing or screening, we recommend (as does the United States Armed Services) that you DO-NOT ingest any product with even trace amounts of THC. We do have a number of 0 THC options to choose from if that’s a concern for you.
